he tends to play around with a new ball a little while before deciding to tear it to shreds. i think they are worth the money — because his eyes light up when a new toy arrives for him. … if you’re on a budget with big dawgs, maybe opt for a marrow bone, and then refill it with some peanut butter to “renew” the attractiveness of it instead of tennis balls. his favorite hobby is sleeping so his toys remain untouched, but i impulse bought this ball. it only lasted 6 minutes before he ripped all the yellow fuzz off and broke the squeaker, but in those 6 minutes he was a playful puppy who wouldn’t loose his kung fu grip on this ball. not worth the price of shipment and does not bounce; i suspect it’s either cheaply made plastic under the tennis ball fabric or dried old hard rubber. first crushing one side of it and now the fabric is bunching up on one side. definitely cannot stand up to aggressive chewers, this ball was a goner so fast.
