i’ve been looking for a decent sized ball that my aussie can herd and stand up to his rough play. i ordered the 14″ ball and it arrived yesterday. my coop is having a blast with this ball. i’ve tried to play with it with them, and also tried smearing a little peanut butter on it, but no luck. that being said, it’s a well made, very sturdy ball that seems like it would be great for a dog that’s actually into it. our pup loves to jump on this smooth ball pushing it into large snow paths and up snow drifts that have now become small ski-jump like mounds. it also should be noted that this is a ball for outdoor use, not an indoor kind of toy. we ordered a 10″ a year ago and he broke it this past weekend. if you hit the ball with a hammer, you’d probably end up having to buy a new one, a new hammer that is.
