owner, kerri jacobson, has been a professional all-breed dog and cat stylist for 26 years. she has been featured in “ocala style” magazine, a florida based publication, as well as in “family dog” magazine, a national pet publication. kerri is also our cat groomer, known around town as “the cat whisperer!” viviana has been a professional pet stylist for 6 years.
she has been a valuable addition to groomingtails and is an excellent hand scissor and sculpting expert! kelly esterholm has been a professional pet stylist for over 15 years. kelly is also an “all breed” pet groomer with knowledge in every breed specific haircut. she spends a lot of time furthering her education in pet skin and coat issues, giving her the ability to choose the best product to suit your pets needs! she is currently only working weekends as she has been furthering her education at a local veterinarian.
since grooming is a matter of personal taste, we ask that you spend a few minutes with the groomer discussing your style choices and your pet’s vaccination and grooming history. we start each grooming appointment discussing the groom that you want your dog to have. the actual price quotes can vary based on the breed, condition of the dog and individual temperament. age, past surgeries, and current injuries could be a factor in the cost. that groomer will asses the condition of your dog’s coat and make recommendations for appropriate haircuts and/or skin treatments. several options are available to obtain the desired look for your pet. do you want a short summer cut, or maybe a fluffy puppy cut? we offer a variety of professional shampoos and treatments to treat common and not so common issues.
