remember to measure your pet for the paw-fect fit. this leash has a soft grip handle and extends to a comfortable length, giving your pup just enough freedom to roam, while also giving you control with the ability to brake and lock the leash as needed. i am so delighted by the size of this, it fits easily into a jacket pocket and it’s not too heavy, or awkward and bulky. it’s simple to pop into a pocket in case we take our kitty out of the backpack for a quick explore. i bought the leash kong i love the product and i have another one that i bought 4 years ago, but for some reason the nylon started to tear, but chewy took care of the issue right away, i’ve been a customer for 10 years and i have to say only a few times i’ve had an issue and they always make it right. my pup is 8 months old, 50 lbs, and was standing still – as was my wife – when this leash snapped clean off (wish i could add the picture, but this upload process sucks).
i do like the large size even for a small dog. i have been using these to take my two dogs out on walks. the brake on one of them malfunctioned and ripped from the inside and my dog started running away from me, but luckily he stopped and came back because he knows he wasn’t where he was supposed to be. i am requesting a refund and do not recommend this item unless you have a less than 20 pound dog. need instructions on this one on how to lock. i hope it works now but did buy a spare. well made, works as it should….. but you needs to have tiny hands to fit in the handle…. just because you have a small dog does not mean you have a small hand…… we liked this leash, however after 5 months of using it, it stopped retracting and now we can’t use it anymore.
