the rope-like, woven nylon string ensures long-lasting play and the easy-to-use clasp makes it a cinch to swap wigglers. this is a good wand and my cats love it. the length of the wand is very long so i can give my cats room to run and chase it. i’ve had to take a few pieces out of my cats mouth. my mother got this for her cats and after witnessing the obsession i got one as well. so much so i had to make it a routine before bed to play with them so they can at least ensure they get wormy time in everyday to get them off my back. my cat loves these so much we have to detach them when we’re done playing with the wand so he can continue to bat it around loose. we gave one to a friend and her cat loves it, too! will go after it forever, she loves that it’s a wriggly worm, it has a little bell, and the wand is sturdy!
i figured it was just a bad clasp, so i bought another one to replace it. my cat georgia is 3 years old she never use to play with any of her toys i have bought her and her brother cole so many toys and when i bought this toy for her she went wild!!!! they have responded to this squiggly worm wand better than any other wand we’ve had. i love that the wand is long and seems quite sturdy. and i hope the material they are made from is cat safe as i am sure pieces will end up in their tummy. again, this is an amazing toy and incredibly popular (we have to play with it multiple times a day, and she will drag the entire thing upstairs to make sure i know it is time to entertain her), but do plan on replacing the lobster claw clasp and the wiggle worms. i have to be very vigilant to not let my cat bite at the metal or get hit in the face/eye with the metal parts. we have four teasers which he loved and he won’t even play with the other ones now. they love to catch the wiggly worm. it has gotten our three indoor cats to move around and play more than they have in the past.

he destroys most cat “chew toys” within a day or so, but they holds up beautifully. he smelled it, tried to pick it up.tried to figure out what to do with it… maybe when he gets bored of other toys he’ll come back to this cute wiggly worn that is somewhat hard and doesn’t really wiggle. my three-year-old fur wild child is a big biter and chewer. could not even keep certain well known wand toy because she chewed on the fishing wire line instead of the toy. she smacks it with her front paws, then holds it between her paws and chews on it. i have a boy tuxedo who is a heavy chewer, i’ve tired kong toys meant for dogs in various strengths and he’s broke all of them. i bought this toy and he absolutely loves it! i had bought it for him for christmas and it’s still going strong! they looked at it, smelled it and walked away. bought this because my kitties are looking for things to chew on and i was hoping it would deter them from destroying my glasses and other items. unfortunately it is not one of their favorites although they will occasionally pick it up and move it from one location to another.
